An alternative late December celebration.
What is Bobofest?
Bobofest is an annual celebration that occurs over the last few weeks in December. It is held to celebrate the important things in our lives. This will differ from person to person. But we all celebrate together, because it's more fun that way.

Who is Bobofest for?
Anyone may join in the Bobofest activities. Bobofest does not require any rituals or idols to be celebrated. Bobofest is not associated with any organized (or disorganized) religion, greeting card company, or chamber of commerce. One of the main reasons behind the creation of Bobofest was to bring everyone together for a celebration without the exclusion of anyone for any trivial reason. As this is not a cult event, anyone celebrating Bobofest is still welcome to carry on with any other "holiday" that they choose.

How do I celebrate Bobofest?
As there are no traditions, routines, or rituals for Bobofest, how you celebrate is entirely up to you. Many Bobofest celebrators like to find a large tall thing to put in the corner of their living room to be decorated. Each year it is a different large tall thing.
Parties are always good. Presents are swell as well. You are also welcome to just sit at home and watch television. If an annual routine is established, don't fret. You're welcome to do that as well, just so long as you don't impose these rituals on others. This is not a competition, folks.

Can I also celebrate Christmas or Hannukah or any other holiday?
Of Course! Bobofest is not part of any organized religious group or otherwise, so you can celebrate instead of your holiday OR in addition to your other holiday.

When exactly is Bobofest?
This is a trick question as there are no specific dates. It's pretty much from mid to late December until the first or second of January. It was once considered to begin Bobofest on the Winter Solstice (The shortest day of the year). But, it was soon pointed out that this would alienate any non-Earth creatures.
